Welcome to the website of St Michael’s Catholic Church in Ashtead. Here you will find all the information you need on our services and sacramental programmes, parish care, schools and charitable groups, as well as outreach, social events and much more.
Our parish is part of the Catholic Diocese of Arundel and Brighton. But we see ourselves as a vital part of the wider world community. ‘Vital’, because we have a God given responsibility to our neighbours and particularly to our neighbours who are less fortunate than we are. At St Michael’s, this is a central part of the philosophy which underpins our parish life.
We are linked with our Roman Catholic Primary & Secondary Schools (St. Peter's Catholic Primary School & St. Andrews Catholic Secondary Schools).
A warm welcome to our Parish. St Michael’s is a happy community with a lot going on. Come and join us, you will certainly be made most welcome. The first step, would be to register as a parishioner, visit our Parishioner Registration page and complete the online form, then say hello to to Fr. Chris Bergin, or to Deacon David Pattinson or one of our Welcomers at Mass. You are more than welcome to pop into the Parish Office and introduce yourself between 10 - 2pm Monday to Friday. We’ll be delighted to meet you and to make you feel at home.
God bless you
